Julia Child and Julie Powell (both of whom wrote memoirs) find their lives intertwined. Though separated by time and space, both women are at loose ends... until they discover that with the right combination of passion, fearlessness and butter, anything is possible.
One of my favorite movies about food, this delightful film is an inside look into the master chef's passionate marriage to diplomat Paul Child and the life of the woman who cooked and blogged her way through Julia's " The Art of French Cooking". Julia Child delivered classic French haute cuisine to the average American kitchen and inspired generations of food lovers worldwide. The Divine Ms. Meryl Streep gave us a more personal look into the life of this master of culinary delights.
